Hi, I’m Sloan! I'm a graphic designer by day, DIY-er by night, and the hands (and sometimes bandaids) behind Home with Sloan.

I believe everyone deserves to live in a space that feels like them (welcoming, beautiful, and full of personality) without draining their savings or their sanity. I’m here to show you that you don’t need a massive budget, a contractor’s license, or a magic wand to make it happen.

Around here, you’ll see the whole process. I’m not the fastest (I’ve got a full-time job, a kitchen to clean, and the occasional need to just flop on the couch), but I believe in progress over perfection and in sharing it all in real time.

Whether I’m building raised garden beds in the backyard, refreshing a tired room, or finding budget-friendly ways to add a little colonial charm, my goal is the same: to inspire you to start that project you’ve been dreaming about and to give you the tools, tips, and encouragement to actually finish it.
